Wanna One Won Melon Music Awards’ Kakao Hot Star Award

It was a very close battle between Wanna One and EXO. Wanna One eventually taking the Number 1 spot with 3,477,502 votes against EXO’s 3,469,372. Online voting for the award Kakao Hot Star Award started on November 7 and closed at midnight KST on November 21. Kakao Hot Star Award is a special category of this year’s Melon Music Awards in which Kakao users got the chance choose their favorite star and song.
Melon Music Awards will be held on December 2 at Gocheok Sky Dome.
